Crime Alert: Car Break-in on Wildflower Trail

On Saturday (11/6) night there was a car break-in on Wildflower Trail.  A car window was broken and some items were stolen from the back seat.  The officer on the scene said there was a similar incident in the neighborhood on the other side of Baze Rd as well.

Just a reminder not to leave items in plain view in your parked car even if it is in your driveway or other well lit area.  Also, please help keep a look out for anything suspicious in the neighborhood and to contact the Grapevine Police if you see any type of criminal activity.

Remember rember the 5th of November ... Happy Guy Fawkes Day!

For those of you who don't know, November 5th is Guy Fawkes Day in England

Lastly, if you haven't seen it check out the movie V for Vendetta with Natalie Portman & Hugo Weaving, one of my favorites of all time (a great plot especially around election day, if you are looking for a movie to rent this weekend, check it out!)

You don't find dialogue like this in most movies ...

V: VoilĂ ! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.
[carves V into poster on wall]
V: The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.
[giggles]
V: Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.
